Enjoy the embrace of this very special “lei”. For our very first nursing cover, we wanted to practice old Hawaiian traditions with a modern spin!
This nursing cover features the Uala leaf or sweet potato leaf. Traditionally, Hawaiian Women wore the Uala leaves openly on their chests or as an open lei. They believed in doing so, they’d be blessed with an abundant milk supply to nourish their Keiki.
As you wear your nursing cover, we hope you embrace the symbolism and beauty it has to offer. It’s a special piece entirely!
May this cover bless you and your Keiki with great abundance and blessings in life!
